I just installed my shackle flip on my 84 Chevy K20, now when i go to bolt the leaf spring up to the shackle it wont reach. I have superlift 4 inch lift springs, is it possible they sent me the wrong length leaf springs? How long should my springs be? Ive had the springs on there for awhile and i had to pry the old shackle forward to get it bolt to the leaf spring, but i thought i had to because there wasnt any weight on the spring, but now im thinking not.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

BTW: I just measured the leafs and they are 49" from the center of the spring eyes.

Sounds like the springs are too short. I have some 52" rear springs from a 1/2 ton 4x4 and they measure 50 3/8 eye center to eye center off the truck. .Also the flip has an offset in it and the offset should be toward the axle.
