I'm finally going to order a bolt in steering brace tomorrow. I'm wondering what I should do about the oil cooler lines, they run right through a hole in the crossmember. Are they in the way? What should I do about it. Thanks.

It's a tight fit but the brace bolts up right beside the oil lines

If all you have are the stock lines on your truck then you should be able to "nudge" them out of the way. It will be a very tight fit in some cases. And some of the hard lines can be really hard to move or bend but there should be enough play to be able to be able to do so. As common sense dictates just be sure not to damage or kink any of the lines in the process...even when you have the brace in nice & tight double check to make sure none of the lines are getting pinched by it.

    Good luck!

I ordered the brace today, I don't know who I talked to, but they sure were a lot better than the people at 4 wheel parts!
