does anyone eat this stuff? for those of you who dont know what it is, its food that's produced without added hormones and without the use of antibiotics.

mom has started to buy organic milk, steaks, chicken, etc. i think there is definately a difference in taste.

My mom is an organic nut too. I prefer to eat organic fruits whenever possible, and when they don't taste like shiat and are full of bugs. Fresh food right out of the garden rocks though! /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

    Nope.

It's expensive and I might run into a hippy in the store.

When my dad was on medicine of trying to calm the cancer down, he sort of went a bit unnormal. And spent a whole bunch of money on organic stuff. Now it's all gone. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I eat healthy, meaning no fast foods and I love growing my own foods but there is o way I can live on veggies and organic foods. I NEED MEAT!

Now where did that cow get off to?

Sure do. I dont see any problem with it. Anyone who has a garden eats organic, unless they like to spray a bunch of crap on it. I would say that 50% of the veggies I eat are organic cause I love fresh garden veggies and 75% of the beef I eat is organic. There is a dozen head of range cows on My familys property so I eat very little out of the store. All of the sea food I eat is organic and I eat it every week wether permiting.

I must say, good sir, that you are the ultimate hillbilly...

Now back to the lecture at hand (say what?)... 5 points for whoever names that tune... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I try to eat as healthy as possible, but I'm not going to go out of my way to some crazy wack-job hippy store to get the ultimate in healthy... I do just fine with what I can get at my local grocery store.

Speaking of hippy stores... Someone I work with is also a manager at this place called Ruby Juice. He was explaining everything they have and I was like, I like smoothies, but I'm not going to go there because it sounds like some kind of communist hippy joint... But I went there, and it's not... It's good food, and I didn't see a single hippy heathen /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

That is damn right. You don't need to go to some expensive hippie store with stinky hairy pit know it alls to eat healthy and organic. Any wild game or fish is organic and in most places you can buy "a beef" from a farmer which is usually free range or hay fed, still organic. Not to mention the garden or local farmers markets which have lot's of "organic" growers.

Stay organic: kill what you eat. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I killed a pig accidently once when I was a kid when I was playing THOR with my dads plow hammer

Oh and once when we were castrating pigs, we had two rupture stomach walls, so we had to cut thier throats, so my dad sent me for a knife, and I came back with the dullest one we owned so this guy who was there cut the pigs throat with his pocket knife.....

and then the butcher came by and shot two other pigs in the head with a .223 and when the blood mixed into the snow I ate some because we used to get tiger's blood sno cones at the carnival......

Leave it to america to improve everything so much that its an improvement to go back to ordinary food again (and charge more because they give it a fancy name) /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

    "You got a name, scumbag?"
"Leonard Pratt, sir," he says with a thick
