The sticker on the door of my 78 indicates that the original tire size was 10-15. Can someone help me translate this? What would be an equivalent modern size?

Good question, I would like to know what the diameter of the original 1979 tires were for a speedo error correction.

    12-15LT is about 33x12.50x15
    11-15LT is about 32x11.50x15
    10-15LT is about 31x15.50x15
    9-15LT is about 30x9.50x15

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, but is there a typo on your 10-15? Says it is 31 x 15.5 x 15, should that be 31 x 10 x 15?

They are probably 31x10.50R15s or 235/75R15
