Original tire size and speedo ?

    What was the orginal tire size on a 73 blazer Cheyanne no stickers left anywhere on the truck I need it so I can get the right stuff to correct my speedo /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    one of the 4 wheel drive magazines just out is doing a story on wheels and tires and they had a chart that gave the factory sizes. I beleive they said it was 31, but not sure. They had the trucks and blazers grouped together.

    I have a -76 Blazer Cheyenne and the orginal tiresize for it is H78-15.
    The tiresize is printed on the metalplate with the VIN-number located at the driverside door pillar.

    H78-15 is about the same size as 225/75-15 radial tires.

    You could get a lot of different optiontires, even 31" tires so it´s difficult to know for sure.
