The only one I have ever seen is in a picture in the brochure. In 5 years of tracking these first gen Blazers I have only heard one rumor of someone having an OEM soft top. I don't think you will ever see one in person.

Did they actually produce them or was it like the 2wd Blazer in '69 - listed but never produced?

It looks almost identical to my Kayline top. Maybe GM farmed it out to another company, like Kayline, rather than producing it themselves.

the guy i got my 5k from said it had the original soft top on it when he bought it.he didnt like the way it looked and it had a couple of rips so he took it off and threw it away.along with other retarded things he did to the truck.the only thing out there now i think is aftermarket.it would probably be hard to find a original soft top in any usable condition from a 1st gen k5

    Heya,

Before I was into Blazers I saw a '69 Jimmy with the factory soft-top. I'm not 100% sure it was the original but it sure did look like it. The whole truck looked original down to the wheels and tires.....I wish I had bought it. Oh well.

There is no such thing as a '69 Jimmy.

    Heya,

When did the Jimmy's start? Like I said I saw it before I was into the old chevy 4x4's. I didnt pay much attention to it because I was looking for a Tacoma at the time. I may be thinking Jimmy because it was a '69 I remember that for sure, and it had GMC badging on it. Someone could have put GMC badges on it though.

1970 was the first year for the Jimmy.
