Does he have a dana 35 or a dana 44? If he has a 44 I have the axle shafts, disc brake parts, and housing I'd sell. I had bought it years ago for a Chevy S10 project that I didn't finish. I think it was out of a 1975 bronco. Thank's Jason :D

my buddy didn't know, so i go and try to look... the housing is buried up to the knuckles.

is there any way to find out what it is by the axle shaft, spline count?

Get the spline count and the number off the axle tube. The number on the axle tube should be right in front on the long tube I think. I know (pirate4x4) has a guide on there to look up that number. Also look at the front differential covers shape and number of bolts. I think I have a old FourWheeler mag with a axle spotters guide. Let me know if you need more help.Thank's Jason.
