    When I was still doing body work we had a car come in that had taken a guard rail just like that. Only it went thru where the drivers head WAS! His melon blew like Gallager weilding Sledge-O-Matic. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Only details Ill give is its a sight and smell that cant be explained, but you NEVER forget.

    That driver got mega lucky.

    std american left hand drive. from what i can tell the dash board is correct for a left hand drive.
    its odd how a car can look like that and the driver can walk away. 9 times out of ten if the driver walks away from something like that he/she is intoxicated. im not saying this driver was.

    out in front of the air station on dec 19th we had one grand am hit another. pushed the grand am being hit 80 feet. looked nothign like that. the lady who hit the other lady was even slowing down. the car being hit was stoped. she had a flat front tire and was in the trunk at the time, no hazzards, no flares, nothing. on the side of a 45 MPH street 6 divided lanes wide. she didnt want to drive on the rim. needless to say the tow company that towed one of the cars is the one i work for part time. he towed the grand am that was doing the hitting, but he had to pull the grand am that was hit off of it so the medics could get the other leg out.

    needless to say the lady died christmas eve night.
    the lady driving the wrecking car was just trying to change lanes to avoid the car she thought was moving slow. turned her head to check for a clrea lane, turned back and slamed on the brakes, but wam.

    please pay attention to your surroundings on the road.

    This quoted from the site the pics came from;
    "QLD, Australia
    Check out this series 2 au wagon sporting some after market hardware. The car was only three weeks old when it hit the gard rail. As you can see the rail came through the front of the car. through the fire wall, through the front passenger seat, through the left hand rear passenger seat and stopped short of coming out the back. The guy driving walked away totally unharmed ! I think he should have bought himself a lotto ticket for sure!"

    Actually, I got the url from the picture /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, just right clicked and selected properties. I was pretty sure from the pic of the front that there was no way it was left hand drive, and the driver still walking. Good thing the driver had no passengers /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif.
