p/n switch on 73 blazer location????

    anybody know where the p/n switch is on a 73 with a th350?
    it's been acting weird lately and today just wouldn't crank no matter what position i have the shifter in.

    located on the topside of the steering column........neutral safety switch is at the base, and the p/n selector switch is a few inches upwards of that /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    hmm.....which is the one that prevents the starter from engaging if the shifter isn't in park or n? which one should i be looking for?

    the one on the upper part of the steering column....its just under the dash piece on the top side of the column....easier to get to if you lower the column from the dash.

    ok, so i located teh swtiches, and found that the neutral safety sw. is the one with the 2 purple wires. one of them should be getting voltage when i put the ign. sw. in the start position right? if not, then it's a bad ign. sw. right?

    enver mind, i found the problem. aftermarket alarm and bad neutral safety switch combined to make big headache.
