BTW, if anyone ever wants to know. The 6.2 P/S bracket is different than a gas motor. The bracket can still be bought new from the dealership. Suprised the crap out of me, it was 15 bucks. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If they are different, does anyone close me have one they would sell?

Dude, it's steel - weld it.

Otherwise, I may if this deal I'm working on works out. Shipping can't be that much, can it? ;-)

Well dude, it's completely broke in two spots. One of the spots would be a easy weld. The other, is broken at the adjustment slot. I would have to cut a replacement piece of metal to fit in, then grind it back all purdy so it would actually adjust.

I would rather just bolt a new one on.

    Re: P/S bracket questions

I will not post anymore for sale items on the diesel board, but the individual who was looking for a powersteering bracket, I should be able to respond to.

    $10 plus shipping.

If you look on the wanted board, there are several NON-members who have responded to wanted ads. Trying to sell stuff.

    Is this not the same??

Why can't I offer this guy a good deal on a bracket on this board?

Would he need to post it on the wanted board? That make no sense to me.

    Awaiting your reply.
