Hello, I want to hook up a PA system in my K5. All my CB has is the external speaker output, is there anyway to get the PA to work with this, like opening the thing up? It is a Cobra 18 something CB. Thanks!

Hehe, you're gonne LOVE it, I do mine. You do have to get another CB with the PA function. Get a Uniden thats from the PC or Grant series, good all around radio and has the PA function. Then just go down to radioshack and get one of their 5" PA horns and some cable. I have mounted on the front crossmemeber of the frame, ya know, by the steering box. Its nice because no one can see it, its protected, and the feedback is less because you have some distance between it and the mic.

Yes it can be done, its just basic electronics, any techician should be able to do it in less than one hour. If that is to much to pay sell the one you have now and by one with the PA fuction.
    Good luck
