i got a hold of another sweet '78 blazer (originally intended as a parts truck), but what the heck!!!!!!
i am taking it in to be stripped and painted TODAY!!!!.
in the process i will be doing some little things to it, such as putting a fuel tank cap door, cutting the fenders and have them rewelded to fit 35" on a 4" lift(inner and outer sheet metal)....etc.
i just want to know of any ideas and suggestions (the cool s**t).
the body guy is good, and he is a friend, i will be getting anything i want for next to nothing.
    waiting to hear those ideas!!!

    Knife.

hey man somehtng i did to my 84 blazer was sanded the topper/cap whatever you wanna call it, sanded it smooth with 220 sandpaper, it is very time consuming but it looks nice in the end. i also welded all my body molding holes shut for a somewhat smooth look. i also added a cowl induction hood scoop not the actual hood but just the scoop, here is my website if you wanna see it.. http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com/SeekingSt/bad_bo_ti/index.html
well i hope i gave you some ideas, be sure to show us some pictures of it after it is done.

How about protecting the interior with one of those protectors like herculiner?

thats what i am probably going to do to mine, i will coat the entire floor with some kind of rust prevention/stopper and then go over that with a spray in bed liner. i am thinking of doing the bed liner on my axles too.
