painting axls red..

    what do you guys think about painting my axls red..or different color than black..

    wow that would be different!...go for it...it would look really neat when they are turning!! yea i was thinking maybe chevy orange too..that or red i cant decide..i think it depends on what color i paint the truck..

    It's kind of like that Dodge here in town, the frame and axles are yellow. It'd be different. I personally like "gun metal" myself. Not black, but not a light shade either.

    We had to do that on a circle track car we used to have. It looked neat bouncing down the strait but it was sure easy to see.

    I'm cleaning and painting my D60 front right now. I was thinking of going with basic black but decided on something a little different. I sprayed the main housing and tubes "Machinery Grey", the cover, and the outers are gloss black. It looks swanky.../forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

    I'm not much for 'other' colors under my truck...but machinery grey seemed all right when I was picking up paint.
