Wanted to see if anybody knows if the parking brake cables off a 14 sf will fit on a 14 ff? I know many people change to discs, but I am keeping the drums and was wondering if the cables from the sf axle will work on the ff. How about a 10 bolt, are they the same also?

I was able to compare some last night. The parking brake cables are NOT interchangeable between the 14ff and 14sf. However, it does look like the cables between a Ford dana 70U and the 14sf may interchange, for whatever that's worth.

The 14ff parking brake cable bolts onto the brake backing plate with two small bolts. The 14sf pushes in and has little tabs that hold it there.
