Hello Again...I've just finished the transfer case swap (NP203 to NP205) swap on my 1973 K5 Blazer. The NP205 sits about 4" forward than the NP203 did. I re-used all of the stock brackets. I need a parking brake cable that's about 5" or so longer than the old cable. I can't get any of the local auto parts stores to sell me one by length...they only want a make/model/year application. If you've done this swap, could you please tell me which parking brake cable to ask for (I was thinking that one for a manual transmission or '72 auto with NP205 might work). Also, I'm trying to find out information about the NP205 transfer case speedometer gear. My Blazer has 4" lift, 35x12.50 tyres, and 4.56 gears.

Tell the parts store you want a brake cable for an '80 model year Blazer as the '80 years of ALL GM trucks were equipped from the factory with 205 t-cases. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Or a '74. According to the specs page, they also had the 350/205 combo and there are probably fewer minor changes between it and your '73.
