I am about odne with my rear axle swap from a 12 bolt to a 1 ton 14 bolt FF, My question is how do I do teh parking brake? teh FF is from a 84 1-ton pickup and it had REAL long brake cables, I woud like to just re-use teh ones from the 12 bolt but i dont think the cable and spring is long enough inside the drum? can I just loosen the linkage for the e-brake and slide it back to make teh cable longer?, but tehn would the spring be too short?

    THANX!

i used a 14 bolt out of a 77 3\4 ton pickup in my 79 blazer and the cables were the same length, you might try to get some 3\4 ton cables
