what is required to have a parking break on the driveshaft/ transfercase ??? anyone know of a kit?
Yep, talk to Jesse at high Angle driveline. they have a real nice kit....
jesse (high angle) has what you want, I'm going with his kit.
How much is that kit from High Angle?
I have the High angle driveline kit. The kit itself isn't that much but you also have to run his 1-ton CV driveshaft to make it work. It works out to a decient chunk of change for all that but is well worth it. Mine will hold the truck with the trans in N on as steep of a hill that the tires will grip. Big difference from park and e-brake not holding setup that I had before!
If you really want to save the $$$ I bet you could get him to sell you just the caliper and make everything yourself.
thats what ill try to do. i cant pull a driveshaft too all at the sanme time. college is a kicker. thanks for the links everybody.
