Parking brake??

    ...my foot parking brake pops back up and doesnt lock into position when its pressed down...it FEELS like its warn out ...anyone know if it can be adjusted so it "clicks" into place, or does it need to be replaced cuz its warn and there are no adjustments????? -thanks, man-who-wants-2-park-on-hill

    <font color="green"> It could be as simple as a broken spring. It's basically just too interlocking rails with teeth that mesh, the one that releases the other should have a spring on it for tension. Just get in there and see if you can figure out why it isn't catching. It the teeth are rounded off or missing then it's toast, if they're still there you should be able to fix it. </font color>
