The subject line says it all.....looking for feedback from people who actually have these tires.

I read the article in Four Wheeler (Jan '02, p.86) about these tires, and they seem to be a good all-around tire....even on the street (radials).

The other part I like is that they have a 38" x 15.50" x 16.5" size. Crosssection width is 15.3" and treadwidth is 13.10"

Super Swamper Radials in the same size have crossections of 14.3" and tread width of 11.5". I've seen these installed on a 1st Gen Blazer and they looked really awesome from the side view, but from the front or rear, they look "skinny".....especially for a "so-called" 15.50" wide tire!

From purely an aesthetic point of view, I think the extra treadwidth and section width of the Dirt Grip might be a really "meaty" looking setup.....plus they DO have a cool tread pattern too!!! [IMG]

Anyone got a personal experience to share on this one?

I know....there like $320 each!......so I'd REALLY like to see them in person or hear more about them from someone.

I should be able to get one "special ordered" to a local 4WPW or Wheel Works shop if I can't get info any other way....

    Sorry, no experience.
Just too expensive for me to pay that much and it not be a Swamper. Tread looks wimpy compared to a Swamper.
I guess if you wanted a larger MT tire.

Sorry no experience but it sounds like an expensive way to go considering how quickly tires wear out on my rig. I'll stick with BFGs and keep them as fresh as money will allow.
