    How hard is it to install i know there is a post floating but couldnt find it and were to get them form and cost any help would be nice . /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    It's easy. Just take your time and follow ALL the instructions. The most critical part is the endplay adjustment. too much and it will clunk and tear itself up. Too little and it will burn up in a short period of time. Grim-Reaper's article is excellent and includes pictures for reference.

    If you are pretty good with a wrench, give yourself at least 2-3 hours the first time you do it. It usually won't take that long but .... stuff happens!

    While you have it all torn apart, think about replacing things like: U-joints, rear transfer case seals and draining/re-filling the 10w-30 in the transfer case.
