So I found a truck in the classifieds. It's a 1984 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif Anyone know exactly what front and rear ends are in it?

He said it has 130k miles and ran fine until a few weeks ago when it suddenly started running really rough. He took it to shucks and put a new set of plugs in it and it ran fine for a few miles and fouled the plugs again. Any ideas on what would cause this? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Anyway, for 800 bucks I figure it's worth it. If I do pick it up is anyone interested in some parts? (700r4, 350) /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Speaking of parts I have a set of front rancho 4" lift springs if anyone is interested $150 obo

if its an 84 it should have a 14 SF , possibly a FF but prolly not inless it has the FF hubs, and in the front a D44. Id be interested in the front fenders if theyre good, and the engine if its a clean runner, and fouling that fast can be a few reasons.the 700r4 might make a good anchor if you have a good rope you dont mind cutting when you have your limit /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

lets see, '84 would be a 10 bolt front, and likely has a semi float 14 bolt....unless the rear has big hubs sticking out that are only found on a full floater, which is what defines it as a full floater /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

84, doesn't that have the Electric Spark Control set-up? Might be the cause of it not running correctly. Also the weak 700r4.

    Complex,

What color is the interior? If it's blue and in good condition, I want the headliner, carpet, seat, dash pad. Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Doug
