    Parting out a \'78 K5 454, TH400, 208, 14BFF

Anyone interested? I haven't bought the truck yet, I kinda wanted to know if I could help anyone out before I laid down the $$$$. The body is pretty much DONE, but the 454, TH400, NP208, 14BFF, and front 8-lug 10 bolt all look pretty solid to me... I will also post to the for sale section...

How much for the 454 and the condition of it?
I need a running 454 to drop into Shawns 82 K30 to drive around for awhile before building up one of my 'rebuilder' 454s.
Do you know of any mods or specs to the 454?

The 454 looked pretty stock. It had an Edelbrock intake and headers on it. P/S, ALT, A/C, w/shorty water pump included if interested. The motor has not been ran in 1.5 years...

Got an offer on this wonderful little motor? It was rebuilt at some point in its life, prior to the current owner, and has about 80k miles on it according to this guy. Looks to me like it could use vavle cover and intake gaskets.
