    i have a line on an 85 k_20 with 3/4 ton stuff under it. what did those trucks come equiped with drivetrain wise...? (engine, tranny, t-case, axles) and what are the differences between a k-5 and a k-20? thanks in advance for the help.

    The axles shoild be a 14 FF rear and a 10 bolt front.
    The tranny and t-case is most lkely a 700/208.
    K5's are Blazers, 2 wheel drive and 4x4.
    K20 is a 3/4 ton 4x4 designation for a pickup or Suburban.

    In 85 you might have the 14b SF under it. I am not sure, but I know alot of 80's 3/4 tons came with the SF.

    My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.
