I posted on the Parts Wanted board, but I was wondering if any one here might know of a source for the passenger side seat brackets for a '72. I've only ever seen bench brackets and had no luck with the yards

A far as I know they are. If not, will someone please correct me. My front brackets are OK, but could still use replacing. I need the rear bracket that bolts to the seat as well as the fixed that mounts to the floor.

I think the design stayed the same till '75 or '76.

'69-'72 brackets are perfetcly interchangeable. The '73-'76 bracket is a little different, but I think it will bolt in (it is visibly different from what I have seen in the Blazers I've been in at the yards, so I cna't say that they will fit).

I've tried a bracket from a yard, from a '76 I believe. It looked like it would work, but when I bolted the 'latch piece' (for lack of a better term) to the floor, it didn't line up and secure the seat from flipping forward. That may or may not have been an original latch in the '76, so I can't really say either

i pulled a complete seat out of a post 75 blazer.not sure on the year but it lined up in the rear.the front i had to weld new foot plates to line up with the older style bolt pattern.i also put some aluminum blocks in the rear to lift it off the floor a little to match up with the raised spot on the front of the floor where it bolts in.not the easiest rought to go,but it works and only cost me 5 bucks at the junkyard
