im making sketti also tonight. mt favorite!!!

im lame, buti use a big jar of francesco rinaldi, add salt, pepper, tsp of sugar, basil, put it on low and let it simmer.

i take fresh garlic(i use alot, up to you how much) and sear it in olive oil (a fair amount)

i pour the olive oil with the garlic into the sauce. the oil actually gives it a nice tatse.

i mkae my meat balls by mixing the chopmeat with 1 egg, seasoned salt, bread crumbs, garlic powder and selt & pepper. i pre cook them in a pan in the oven on 400 until the outsides are brown, but not hard. then add them to the sauce.

let the sauce cook on low until the meatballs are cooked all the wat thgouh and then get fat and happy

i guess add some cayan pepper if you want it spicy, but my wife would kill me.

i actually get full tasting the sauce as i am cooking!! :D

    enjoy

mine is beyond simple.a big can of v-8 juice,a can of tomatoe PASTE, not sauce.slice up a whole thingy of garlic.and i meen the clove. i fry my meatballs, i used to use egg to hold them together. but now i use ground chuck.make the balls the size you want and get e'm cooking.it takes me some time cuz i use 4 pounds of meat.after the meatballs are in the sauce i add parmesan cheese grated.and let it simmer for a few hours.stirring every once in awhile.no boiling.simple but good.i put the meatballs in before i drain the pan.a little oil makes it better. i hope that helps.
