Cool, glad your having fun with your rig. FYI, The pacific forum has had VERY little traffic in it as of late. Might try the garage for more feedback. Can make a new thread there aswell.

This is the front bumper build. :grind:I reused the factory bumper mounts by welding them to the C- channel.

Here are a few of the rear bumper. We threw it together pretty quick.Again, we reused the factory mounts by welding to them. 29.jpg

I reused the factory license plate mount & light. The problem was when I climbed off of something in the desert, I knocked it off!
    39.jpg

Anybody want to know how I fixed it?

Other pics- Jimmy stock, trimmed fenders on 33's.
Then Jimmy after a 2 1/2 inch lift on 33's
Now- Jimmy lifted 2 1/2 inches on 35's
next- New diff gears. ..ps Jimmy getting ready for a party...

... RE: license plate fix. I went to the junkyard and got a Cadillac license plate mounts that are on a hinge for pumping gas and attached it upside down on my chopped GMC mount. Now when I climb off something it just hinges up & springs back into place.:waytogo: JIMMY 010.jpg

After tearing up my rear bumper pretty bad i decided to straighten the lic plate out while fixing it. Turned out the toll roads had the wrong lic plate for 4 years(Thats how long the plate looked like a taco):haha:

Your rear bumper looks good too!

u might need to put a skid plate over that tank... if you like rocks and steep departure angles....

(I put a dent in my TJ that showed 1/4 tank of gas until the day I sold it... gotta luv the rocks)

Yes, I definitely need a skid plate for my gas tank. I rut a dent in it the size of my head!
They had a stock skid plate as an option when they were new. I will make one soon.

The stock skid plate is useless. My truck came with it and i bent the crap out of the thing. Ended up getting a 16th' plate and fabbing it up a little and welding it onto the stock one.

You mean your Cornbinder has a Chevy in it? Well, that's kinda the standard with price and avail of IH parts.
Of course the Rover uses an old GM engine. It was the only way they could think of to keep the oil on the inside.
You know why the British don't make computers? The couldn't figure out how to make them leak oil.
