Putting the 1.5" spacers from Performance on when they arrive (come awn UPS /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif), did any of you use blue or red loctite on the spacer-to-drum mount?

Figure re-torque is necessary after a few miles, and often for a while, what did you experience?

    TIA

Can you tell me where you got your spacers and $$?

    Thanks.

I've been running spacers on JMT without locktight for sometime, and I haven't had any problems. I just followed the standard torquing, and treated them like a new wheel break in.

Nop loctite here. Just standard lug nug treatment. Had on for 2000 miles now including some hard offroading and no problems.

I don't use any loctight. I've "heard" people do and recommend it, so there shouldn't be any problem using it if you do, (except when trying to remove em).

Definately retorque after 200miles...no question there....they will definatley loosen up.
I always retorque em during every tire rotation (just in-case).

Just a suggestion, but the red locktite is permanent and they mean it.So I'd only suggest the blue if any.Just my .02
