I am finally doing the disc brake swap on my FF, if anyone needs the backing plates, drums, shoes, or ebrake cables(they are the bolt on ones) let me know before it get's tossed.
EDIT- going to scrap on friday, also have a 3 row radiator out of 83 chevy. Not the best shape, but works, could use a cleaning, GONE

Off what year axle? I have a 70's axle in an 80's truck so the ebrake cables are wrong.

no idea of the year, but they are both short, same length I think, and they go to a bracket on each side of the frame.

My K5 has the cables cut off, but like Harley, it's a late model cable I need.

Also, which size drums? My son ran a wheel off the K5 a year or so back and it warped a drum every so slightly when it hit the road. I could use a drum, if your's will fit. This is a 3/4 ton, and IIRC, that should mean a 2.5" drum.

Remember there are 2 different size 3/4 ton brakes. 13" & something smaller like 11.5". They are both 2.5" wide but the drums are different size. Harley

After 83 , they changed the routing on the truck from a bracket on both sides to a bracket on one side .

All the various trucks I have had here have been the same length cables , except Shawns 86 which had none .

Which corresponds to these pics from the LMC cat :

Ahhh, good to know that '84 up (if I understand "after 83" correctly) is what I need.
