Pretty kool idea! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Though I think that there is something better than bungies for tie down straps.

I know someone that lost the vision in one eye when a bungie cord broke and hit him. You might be able to find some small web straps with tighteners in a camping or sporting goods dept. I like the low cost cover. I might do something similar to keep the sun out.

In that case I had better find something different. I have lots of baler twine /forums/images/icons/wink.gif . I'll also update the site. I'd hate to have any part of a person getting hurt like that. Thanks for the tip.

Wish I didn't have on street parking, and could store my hard top somewhere.
I already have the "family bar" in the back. I think those motorcycle tiedown ratchet straps would work well.
What is it tied down to in the back?

It's just tied down to the bottom of the bumper. Maybe you've got a friend in the country with a little extra room to store your topper???

Sorry I'm so slow on this! I'm sure you could make one even better. My grommets are ripping out /forums/images/icons/blush.gif oops. Thought I was the Grommet Master. They are the ones I put in. Maybe not heavy duty enough?? I'm using it anyway. Thing is, my soft top installation kit is on it's way and I won't need this any more! I took out the conduit pipe tonight. I'd give it to anyone who might want it, but know you don't need it with that fancy roll bar you've got.
