I threw up the first of the pics from the Southern California Blazer Safari run. I've got much more coming including some crunch and near crunch streaming video. It was an absolute blast with a great group of K5'ers. I'll definately be at the next one!

Don't pay any attention to Esteban!! [IMG] I still have lots of them, so yes, anyone who is interested please PM me and we can set up getting them out to you! If I can sell the remaining 20 or so I will be able to break even on them, that would be nice...

There's some good flex pics in there! I've got video footage I want to send up to your buddies who were filming for the promo. Can you PM with info of where I can send the tape?

Oh, and for all those who were wondering why my truck was getting up all that in 2WD and doing so well later under 4WD with an open diff... I found that both main rear leaf springs on the are broken in half between the u bolts, hence the great flex! Thank god for tight ubolts or I would have lost the whole axle, still wondering whats keeping it on the truck other than the weight! I thought it was riding awefully smooth on the way home, like a cadillac!
Edited by BorregoK5 on 10/08/01 02:03 PM.

I had a blast..!! Had to work on the rocker panels and right side door with a sledge last night to get the "open and shut" capability back! ... :)

Is that why you kept jumping in and out instead of going through the door?? Man, that sucks! My door was rubbing pretty badly on the fender after all the flexing, but at least I could open it! Still needs more adjustment, I probably need some spacers to push the door "back" away from the fender to get it right.

Borrego, you better be counting your lucky stars!! [IMG]

I had a blast and for once I didn't break down! Kieth I definitely want a couple of those stickers. definitely a kick ass group of guys and all was well except for the jercky that kept me up all night...hehe It;s all good though, If I hadn't drank so many beers I would have probably been the one keeping people up...can't wait for the next event....Oh yeah, what is next?

Hmmm, good question! We should start to float some more ideas around. I know that a lot of people wanted to do the Big Bear trip if we didn't go to Truckhaven, so I would guess that that would be a leading vote getter for us So Cal guys. Those of us who did the Silverwood trail earlier in the year had a great time on that one. John Bull up in Big Bear is a great rock trail, along with Holcomb Valley. I know that Mike (Blazen91) is always wanting to do some High Desert trips, maybe he can come up with something.

Let's kick it around and decide on one soon!

Well, whatever we do i know i need to get a little more extream with the sawzall, not quite enough room in the front wheelwells, and that brap-brap-brap-brap, of the swamper lugs hitting sheet metal is starting to get to me.

That has got to be the most fun i've ever had with my clothes on. For all that missed it, you missed out. Keith i'll take a couple more stickers, and Keith, that beer was excellent, you are my hero. No more Jack Daniels for Dan and his buddies, they were keeping the whole damn area awake, either that or more JD so they'll just pass out.

Ok, whats next, Big Bear is good with me. Bring it on!

Oh and I Love my truck!!

Me? Loud? You must have me confused w/ someone else ; )

Big Bear sounds good. Would this be a Sat only thing? I don't think I could do another full weekend thing for a while. We do have to make sure we get up and play in the snow when it comes.
