*PIC\'S* of 12 bolt rear disc brake install

Finally finished my rear disc install on my 71 Blazer.I used the TSM kit.It took me about 2 days(taking my time)and went real smooth.
I am having trouble getting the air out of the system(see my post-CAN'T GET A HARD PEDAL) so the jury is out on any braking performance improvments as of yet.
Total cost was roughly $400.00.Prob. could have done it a little cheaper but I went with new parts instead of used ones.

looks like you did it the right way.did you replace the carrier bearings also?does the disk slide on the axle and then tighten down when you put the tire back on like if you still had the drum on there?

The hat of the rotor fits over the axle flange and around the studs, just like the drum does.

The parking brake in those calipers is marginal with 32" tires. With bigger tires, it's not really what I'd call functional.
