*PIC\'S* of 12 bolt rear disc brake install

Posted this in the 1st gen forum but I figured the 2nd gen's would be interested in it too.
Finally finished my rear disc install on my 71 Blazer.I used the TSM kit.It took me about 2 days(taking my time)and went real smooth.
I am having trouble getting the air out of the system(see my post in the 1st gen forum-CAN'T GET A HARD PEDAL) so the jury is out on any braking performance improvments as of yet.
Total cost was roughly $400.00.Prob. could have done it a little cheaper but I went with new parts instead of used ones.

    1) Gov-Lock
    2) Pinion Shaft
    3) Are those front rotors in the back with 77-79 calipers or are they 79-85 calipers with 1" rotors? (Look like front rotors though?)

Thanks for the tech. info! I'll change the captions under the pic's
The rotors are just a shade over 1" wide. They came in the TSM kit.
The calipers are spec'd out for a 84 Cadillac Eldorado

<font color=blue> I'd just like to say that you did a wonderful job on both your rear tire carrier and this article. Your pictures are of great quality and you're very thorough in the explaination ! Thanks again !

<font color=blue> I've never been more serious ! You're very good at it ! After seeing your write up on the rear tire carrier, it made me want to run out and buy myself a welder and do it myself ! Keep up the great work ! I even thought of seeing if you'd make me one ...... I'm impressed !

    Bob,

Excellent write up on the rear disk install. One of the best I've read and seen. Very detailed and very clean, keep up the great work.

After reading your write up, I'm considering the same for my 1st Gen.

Re: *PIC\'S* of 12 bolt rear disc brake install

    Thanks guys.
Riz,I think I was pretty lucky that my carrier turned out as well as it did for a 1st timer. It took me two months on and off to actually finish that tire carrier.
therobzilla, thanks to you as well.My inspiration was STEVE CHIN.I read his write up on the rear brake conversion he did on his 1st gen.His article was very detailed and helped me GREATLY.Although his article did not have any detailed pictures his write up was so detailed I didn't have any problems with my install.
