I work for Oregon Motor Sports/ Off-Road Tech(kinda one in the same buisness) any how now that i got my cam (thanks Santa!) heres a couple pics of wat i/we do thought some of you migt think its kinda cool.

This is the one we just finished. We build these totaly from scratch(exept of coarse things like rack and pinion, C.V. joints and that type of obvious stuff) other than that it all starts as straight tube and flat plate.

it is cool to watch them come together. I did pretty much everything on that orange car including shock mounts f/r engine cage, nurf bars, etc. I got the job with help from a friend of mine named Nick. I started as just a helper and as i proved my self more and more worthy i moved up to doin this kind of stuff. Nick unfortunatly never proved himself worthy and was fired a couple weeks after i started.

Those things are AWESOME nice work. I'd love to get a rail one day but for now I have to stick to one project at a time.

The job is pretty sweet but as of right now im the ONLY employee. So me and my boss are the only ones to do all this freakin work. on top of that he is allways out of money because of Oregon motor Sports' extrealy high overhead. (its like the napa of dunebugys only smaller). So sence the two of us are struggling to get the ball rolling a little better, my wallet suffers. I've been working there sence augaust and still make minumum wage. which i think is pretty F***** up but then he starts about how broke e is and i dont wanna ask for a raise. orange ones about 20 grand

SWEEET! Is that a 4.3L V6 I see in one of those pics? You guys have come up with a way to build a rear engined buggy with an engine other than a VW flat-4?

No actually is a for 3.8. And weve got a way. That bug has an inline four thats a 2.2 liter ecotech out of a saturn. Also the Caddy Northstar motor is prety popular as are the Ls1's. Our drug of choice is allways the 2.5 liter subaru turbo. makes about 330 horse and have (what we feel) is the best/ broadest torque curve.

Ran into a guy here a while back that had a Beretta motor in the back of his Bus. Bought a bolt on kit that was complete with the wiring harness and computer.

yep actually its Kris  But yeah i assume youre talking about the toyota black red and white, fancy paint job, 37's baja fenders etc? we just got that "done" also when were you in? i started there in early augest. And no its not the same one. we actually have two differnt shops about 3 blocks apart (ones mostly retail store and the other is the fab shop) and these are all down at the fab shop. I can get pics of the other car, its prety much just a way more nice version of that car.
