Okay guys, here is my rig in all its glory. It is FAR from finished, but I decided to upload these pics anyway. I've done a little more to it since and will post more pics later. I wanted a very flat military-style olive drab but the guys at Maaco didn't get it right. You can see a little shine. I haven't seen any like this and I got used to it, so I ended up liking it, anyway.

It is a '79 but I added a '73-'74 grille (love that look). Oh, and sorry, there are no action pics yet. What do you guys think?

Thanks a lot, guys. Bryan, the decal on the hood is a big Warn decal they sent to me for free. I liked it so much I stuck it on the hood. What can I say, I'm a sticker-junkie!

Bryan, one other thing. I actually saw a "factory" M715 in one of the offroad mags that had an identical paint job with the shine and all. I never knew they came out from the military like that, but that M715 had it. I think it was a late 60s truck.

I'll look for the mag and scan some pictures to post (if I can find it in my stacks of magazines).

also, i just love seeing them drive all of the old model GMC's they have. they look so sweet, man what i would do to have one of em. camo paint, huge tires, massive diesel engine, flat bed, o the possibilities. =) L8!

JEFF!!! Actually I put them right on as soon as I got them. Those pics are older. As a matter of fact, I am going to my friend's house today who has a digital camera so I can post those, too. Don't worry, I want EVERYBODY to see those. I love them!

I can't see the pics anymore, I saw this thread right after it came up, but needed to show a friend the paint. We're trying to figure out what color to settle on with mine.
