i love zillow.com and finally they have the birds eye view of the house we hopefully will get.

    http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?zprop=39587556

once you get to that page, on the bottom right of the picture, hit south, and the house we want has the brick face with the 2 car garage and double wide concrete driveway. (HIT THE ZOOM BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER ALSO)

they are at 280000, we went to 275000, hopefully they will accept this bid.

im getting too excited for that 2 car garage. lol

the trampoline dude.... all mormons have one (if they can afford one). Its like a requirement or something.

At any rate, looks like you are gonna be getting a good deal on your new pad. :thumb: My wife and I can't afford a $275k house. :( Just out of curiosity, how much did you get preapproved for? and (if ya don't mind!) what is your income? I'm gathering paperwork for my home mortgage guy right now... just trying to figure what I might get approved for. :)

yah, house hunting sucks and the price of houses are rediculous. 5 years ago for 27500 i could have gotten a house 3 tiems the size or even lived on the water.

im not sure what our max approval would be for. i guess around 400000.00

together we make a little over a 100000.00 hopefully next year it will be a lit more. she is a speacj therapist and there is a lot of money to be made especially if you go private practice.

the last 3 years have been rough with her in school full time and working her internships for free. so having 2 incomes definitely makes it easier.

    good luck

    loaded? lol

unfortunely that is not a lot around here. living in new jersey is rough. everything is so damn high.

the taxes on that house are low still. the guy i work with pays over 9000 a year, while the house im looking at is only 3600

high insurance rates, high taxes, hgh everything.

yeppers... and they have lame truck lift laws to IIRC. To much for me, I'll stay out this way. House prices have gone crazy though. In 1995 my parents bought a big ass house (3500 sq ft or so) up on top of a hill... with views... with a good sized lot... surrounded by other rich people's houses. Cost them $215,000. Today, you can hardly get a rat-infested refrigerator box for that even if its in a bad part of town. The last place my wife and I looked at that was acceptable, they were asking $239,900. It was about half the size of mom/dads pad and had a much smaller lot. On the plus side, it had a fenced back yard with room to park a trailer and my truggy inside the fence (where my dogs would be free to roam...), a double garage, and 700 more sq ft than the place we rent now. It was a pretty sweet pad. If I could get them down to $225-230k and maybe kick in some closing costs, I might be able to afford it. We'll see I guess.

at any rate, good luck mang!

you will be surprised at what you can afford. the difference between 239 and 225000 in monthly payments is maybe a 100 dollars.

double garage, thats what caught my eye. now ill have to bust the top pf one of them out and enlarge it so the blazer can get in there. i also have a pop up and an 18 ft center console i can finally fit them all.

we should find out tonight if they are going to eaccept the 275000 offer.

nothing like signing our lives away, but its better than renting, im so sick of living here.

i have a 3 bay garage i live above (garage is awesome) but the other 4 houses they rent out to mexicans and i founf the one kid pooping in his back yard. i couldnt even tell you how many are living here.
