    DAMN 8 lug rims.. lol
Don't have the resources to do that kind of swap.. guess I'll keep my 6 lug rallies. Have 13 of them.. lol
Someday I'll do a 8 lug conversion. Once the other Blazer is finished.

It's better to have it than to need it, than to need it and not have it !!!!

Your baby doesn't look too rusty to me...... Or is it just that any fresh rust gets a nice coat of white Tremclad??? I've seen other pictures of the ramp thing on other posts- what does it test and how exactly do you "score" on it?

Yes I'm running a 14 bolt FF rear, and an 8 lug D 44 front.
The swap cost me nothing, some bonehead at work clipped my truck with the company 1 ton. Dented my front fender and wrecked my front bumper. The owner of the company cut me a check for the damage, and with that money I bought a complete 3/4 ton drivetrain, 14 bolt, Dana 44, SM465, NP 205, and both driveshafts. I actually had enough money left over to buy the steel for the front and rear bumpers.[IMG]

The ramp is just a tool for measuring how much your suspension articulates. They measure how far up the ramp you've gone without lifting a tire, and divide by the wheelbase. I went up the ramp 85". Now when I make some mods I can go back and see how much difference it made. Not lifting a tire is pretty important when you have open diffs like I do, as soon as 1 tire lifts all the power is sent to the tire with the least traction and forward progress stops.

Well FWP if your talking about the pic I think you are, there is no bottom of the door panel.[IMG]Most of the inside of the door was gone too[IMG]. Now the whole door is gone, I found a set of rust free doors. Best part was they were already white![IMG]
Actually the camera seems to be a little forgiving, my truck is actually quite rusty(rear half, after the doors)[IMG], but not for much longer.

The only problem with the 'hub cap' situation is that I don't think I can go any wider than 12.5" on the tire size. I think I'm already pushing it. I wonder if I can find some steelies in a 9.75" width that the hub caps will fit on?
I'd like to use the 36 x 14.5 Swampers for my next tires.[IMG]

Hey Boss, how'd you get your very own button?[IMG]
