    Is your driveshaft too long, bent, or did you do any tRustyK5 launches and bottom out the driveshaft against the t-case (something will have to give)? Bottoming out a driveshaft can do damage like that (ask me how I know), and I guess a bent one could too, but you would probably notice a vibration if that were the case.

    I'd guess too long a driveshaft too...

    or did you do any tRustyK5 launches and bottom out the driveshaft against the t-case

    LOL...I guess my driveshaft is the correct length. Flogged, abused, beaten and driven 300 miles home[​IMG]

    Actually I think it was low range with traction that caused it. Don't ask what I was doing though.[​IMG]

    Let me just say the Detroit worked well. The driveshaft is not to lon, as a matter of fact it is out about an inch more then it was from the factory. I actually think that it was cracked before but it just totally went when I was messing around.

    Glad you explained it....I was wondering the same thing. I haven't had anything but a 205 for a long time. Starting to forget what the other pieces look like I guess. Some pretty mean looking breakage though.
