    id like to see how you guys mounted them and how the coax is hooked up to them..i need close ups not far away shots thanx!!

    yea!! thats what i need! what kind of wire is that? its not liek the regualr coax cable that just plugs in and screws..but thats the kinda of wire i need right there..

    That is just a regular coax with one end cut off. The center wire (lead) to the center. the outer braided wire (shield) to one of the 3 screws.

    ahhh gotcha!!! ok..what kind of mount should i use to mount it to the top of my roll bar!?

    [/ QUOTE ]Mounting it to your roll bar might be alittle hard. Might be hard getting a good ground. But anyways, it might be easier to weld a inverted "L" bracket to the roll bar and use a "Acorn" style stud mount.

    why do you say that? becuase of the shape? i have a flat surface for mounting a light smack dab in the middle of the bar on top that i thought would be perfect for moutning an antenna on..

    If you have a big enough flat spot to mount it to then the ball type mount will work great.
