    how many people use old chevy's to make play toys or fun toys?

    Thats awesome! I'm in the process of finally going ahead to build my dream truck....a '57 Chevy big back window short stepside on a '78 SWB chassis with the full works: 454, 400, 205, 60, 14, etc., and gonna ride maybe on 39.5" Boggers. :waytogo:

    have a 55 2nd series big back window cab and front clip that I am not sure what to do with yet. I may make that the platform for an awd streetrod... or just a cool muscle truck or something. :thinking:

    that is a cool pic of a pre 47 gm truck :D :waytogo: I may save my awd hotrod ideas for a truck like that :D

    a somewhat local shop was in process last I knew (a couple years ago but also a kinda deadbeat shop) of putting all the drivetrain from a cummins dodge into an old school powerwagon. They had the frame modded to fit everything last I knew. Looks like it would be pretty sweet.

    that is a 1945 chevy 1.5 ton truck, not a single ford part on it!
