I found this thread looking for info myself I have a post out there now Transfer case question. Sounds like you are planning on doing the same thing as me. Let me know how yours works out and I'll do the same. I hope to work on it tonight ..... but have to check with the wife if I can play or not.

Hope you had better luck than me. I checked the linkage set the pin with the NP203 in neutral. The levers from the transfer case pointing down at 6:00. All is well there, checked the oil pulled the fill plug oil seeped out so all is well there. BUT I STILL have only Low, Neutral, & High NO Loc that I can find.

    ANY Ideas??????

Watch the shifter and linkage from underneath as somebody runs it thru the positions and see what its TRYING to do....maybe you can fiddle the adjusting nuts and get it to drop into LOC.Also, are you sure you're NOT getting into LOC? I (think) that if its in LOC, then both driveshafts should lockup together. Also, try going for LOC when in neutral and coasting slightly on a hill. good luck

I have a very nice picture from a book of mine but my scanner doesn't work , sorry. But if you have a borders/or similar book store around you you can take a gander at the picture in the book. The title is : Turbo Hyadra-Matic 350 Handbook by Ron Sessions, the picture is on page 217, it explains how to adjust the control linkage. Wish I had a scanner so I could send it to you without making you go to the store. By the way the book is very good. I am gonna rebuild one of my 350's (tranny) this summer so I thought I better read up on it.
