/forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif Ok, let's say for a second that I was stupid, and 1) wanted to put a picture next to my name on my profile, and 2) wanted to put a picture on a post without putting a URL, and 3) wanted to make a picture album...hmmm, what would I do? thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Easy. First off, the picture by your name. You need a picture, resize it to 80x80 pixels, then find someplace to put it up like the gallery or ImageStation. Then in your profile, where it says "my image" I think, just cut and paste the image url in there. It should show up.

Then for posting a picture in a post, almost the same thing, except click on "Image" on the reply screen in the UBB Code box. Paste the URL of the pic in there.

Warning 1. Do not use Webshots, they don't allow linking.

Warning 2. If you use ImageStation, on the URLs, they tend to have some crap at the end of the URL, make sure it's .jpg or whatever, nothing more.

if the image is on your screen and you are using internet explorer, RIGHT click on the pic, go to Properties at the bottom then highlight the URL/Address, COPY, then paste your URL into the box when you hit image when posting. Good luck, Nice looking truck too... J

No thats on your computer your just viewing the image through explorer. Go to any webpage, right click an image and hit properties and you can see the direct address for that image on the server (if there is not a right black blocker built into the webpage).

    Ex:
[IMG] this image is used above on the CK5.com website the address for this item is
    http://coloradok5.com/adindex/adindex.jpg
now in the case that you want to use the blazer from the grimlens section to modify for your own color you would right click properties and get
    http://coloradok5.com/forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
    instead of /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
So if you wanted to change it you could like this
    [IMG] or
    http://www.jjlaughner.com/truck/ck5pics/k5.gif

Example of right click and copy with a web address
    [IMG]
I got this image by hitting the print screen button on the keyboard, going into a paint program like paint or photoshop, opening a new project and hitting paste. This gives you a screen shot of exactly whats on your screen. You can then crop the images to the size you need for displaying.
