pinion nut?????

    what size is the pinion nut on a stocker 10 bolt? and is a 10 bolt semi-float?

    So I got that going for me.....which is nice!

    I'm not sure on the size but a 10 bolt front is Full Floating and a 10 bolt rear is Semi Floating unless a Full Floating kit has been added.

    I think the Pinion nut is 1 1/4"

    Red 1989 GMC Suburban SLE V1500 - TBI 350, 700R4 w/ shift kit, Quad-shock front, 31/10.50/15 Pro Comp MT, 4.10 gears, Duals off cat

    Inch and a 1/4 is correct. But I have had Ring and pinion Install kits come with a 1 5/16 before. Why I dont know but I know I had to go buy one just for that install.

    Still hoping the GOV'T will ban the use of loud stereos with RAP music. [​IMG]
