So I went to pismo over memorial day weekend with <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=454>My Dad, (dogman).</a>
It was a pretty good trip, I'm not sure if my favorite part was all the girls flashing out at competition hill, beating other blazers racing up comp hill, or <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=450> 2 <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=449> 3 </a>

<a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=452>What do you do when your dog barks at EVERY SINGLE firework or firecracker???</a>

I took a few jumps in the blazer and the last one hurt when it came down from about 3 feet of air. <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=455> 2 The battery came out of the mount, ripped the battery cables and bent the fans and bracket into the radiator.
My dad had to tow me back to camp with his jeep and our 7 foot length of chain was all we had at the time.. and <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=459> 2
Then we put my blazer on our trailor and towed it into town. I was pretty sure i was going to have to leave it for a day, drive home 4 hours, and come back with a new radiator or our trailor to get my blazer back home.
Let me tell you, this was monday, Memorial day... so NO automotive repair place, radiator shop, or auto parts store was open because it was the holiday. Except for Kragens! And they had a 4 row radiator IN STOCK! However they didn't have the mounts and brackets for the larger 4 row compared to my 3 row. So what did i do? <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=457> I bunjeed the radiator and electric fans bracket </a> nice and tight in place to get me back home. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I got the big jump with about 3 feet of air under all 4 tires on video and i should be posting it next week. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif I'll start a new thread posting that video clip. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

See the rest of the pics of some motorcycles and , <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=442>some sand rail wheelies, and that <a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=443>'70 chevy dually paddles truck</a> with<a target="_blank" href=http://communities.msn.com/Ryans1972Blazer/pismomemorialday2002.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&amp;PhotoID=444> Airbag rear suspension!?!</a>

The hill that everyone calls ''comp'' at Pismo is actually called table top. The real Comp hill is about 3/8 mile north from it. This is not nearly Pismo's biggest dune. The biggest dune in the open riding area is about 3/4 mile inland from sand highway pole 22 all the way by the back fence. This hill is easily 3 times taller than ''comp'' and is named Unocal because of the oil refinery behind it (now philip's 66)

Well if you ever get a jet boat or a v-drive, you will get to meet girls like that all the time /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Thats why I stoped wheeling and started going to the lake, that and there is no speed limit on the lakes in AZ.
