Thinkin about a Road Trip to Oceano Dunes. I want to stay at least one night, probably Sat. (party). The new for me part would be visiting the dunes and camping on the beach from the Burb.
I think its a four hour drive for me. I'm thinking of on the beach by noon Sat.
I know Chevyin Bros. would be happy to show us around.
    Two weeks away!:D

I hope you already got your camping pass because they sell out fast and a ticket for not having one is like 300 dollars:eek1:. Trust me they are very strick about it on holiday weekends.

I know, sometimes the ******* ******* rangers won't let any with a day pass on when the beach too full. It pisses me off when I see a bunch of RVs packing up to leave on Sunday and the jerks still won't let anyone on the beach.

Hey guy's I just called the ranger station and memorial weekend camping passes are soldout:( . If you want to day trip it they do restrict the # of vehicle's , but if you get there by 9:00am your good to go(confirmed with ranger) and can stay untill 11:00pm. Be sure to bring what ever you need because if you leave you may not be able to get back on.

It sucks going on the big weekends because there are alot of idiots driving around drunk and last year I watched the medivac helicopter air lift
two people off comp hill. Plus with so many people out and about you never know if your going to drop over a dune on top of someone.
