    WHO WANTS TO GO?

When the rest of the guys/gals return from the Ruby
They can put in some dates. But. As for now my suggestion is to go the weekend of Oct. 25-27 or Nov. 1-3.

I'm giving almost a month advance. SO don't say its to soon. COME ON. Nothing like running around the dunes!

    Lets GO. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I should have my 402 in and running by then, So I'm thinkin Pismo would be a bad ass place to test out the big block power. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif As far as I know, I'll be able to make it. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Pismo is about 3.5 to 4 hours....
Down 101 south to like San Luis Obisbo. Under 200 miles one way.

We'll all need to get reservations to camp overnight at least a few weekends in advance because they fill up quick!!!
Tori lives in pismo... Its fun to camp on the beach! Forget RVparks or Hotels. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Does each person need to reserve, or can someone speaking for a group reserve space?

    Mike,
I thought that the trip to Placervil (sp) was in a week (Oct. 12th) BUt I can see Blazer Safari being an issue.

I'm thinking Some time in Nov. Might be good for all.
UseYourBlinker= enought time to get the lift on.
Ryan B. and I = to see who can finish the 8 lug conversion.
And Everyone else= time to fix what broke from the latest in Offroading events....

I guess well see if anyone has other input. WHen they get back. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

I'd be down for the November date!!!

You usually only need a reservation for holiday weekends as they only allow so many vehicles. I've gone down there on a Friday afternoon and not had any problems paying for 2 nights without a reservation. If you do make a reservation, you need one reservation for each vehicle that goes in under it's own power. Camping is either $7 or $8 per night. It's best to haul in everything you need, but there are stores and stuff close by and there are showers at the RV park for $.50.

From Hollister, it's about a 3 hour drive, fully loaded and making one stop for gas and maybe one stop to let the junk cool off/forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
