Piston Return Springs...

    I cant find my piston return things... the guy said they were making the noise... so I tore my entire new 454 apart... I cant find any springs in the motor... what am I looking for???
    Sorry i was board...

    Piston return spring? I think some one pulled your leg on that. Are you sure he did not mean valve springs?

    I think the piston return spring is located towards the back part of the engine... down by the muffler bearing.

    who cares about piston return springs, just add an 8 pack of compression and those pistons will return. :O)

    damn.. now my blinker fluid light is on...
