Installing a new 2 inch drop pitman arm. Pulled the old one off the sector shaft without problems, but I'm having trouble separating the pitman arm from the drag link. I suppose I need another tool for that - is it this fork thingy to separate tie rod ends?
    Thanks for the help, michael.

yah, AKA a pickle fork /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You can also use a 2 arm puller to get it off as well.

Thank you for pointing out the correct name! I'll swing by the Zone on my way home from work to pick one up; hope I get the arm done tonite so I can deal with the shock mounts tomorrow.

Yuo should have sperated them before pulling the pitman arm. Just turn the nut around on the arm and with the flat of the nut even with the end of the DLE hit with a BFH it'll pop off.

Tried that, hit it once, didn't work; didn't want to hurt the sector shaft or the box and figured I'd rather get the tool.
