Place to buy TPI/TBI?

    no yard around me will sell a complete TBI/TPI system. is there a website or yard anyone knows of that does? i looked into an aftermarket setup but they are $1200+ will a complete stock system cost the same? I do not want to swap the engine, so i just need everything off a FI truck...i always ask the impossible...

    Whatever you do, do not try to "piece" a TPI setup together. You will end up spending twice as much as buying it complete in the first place.

    The absolute best bet, IMO, is to get a stock GM setup off of ONE complete Camaro/Firebird, late 80's early 90's. You need EVERYTHING, which includes stuff like distributor, "computer", intake, and the entire wiring harness.

    I'm wokring on a set up for $550, and I know the guy isn't selling at a loss.
