I'm trying to find some inexpensive 17x8 6 on 5.5" steel wheels. This is seeming to be an oxy-moron because for like $40 more per wheel I can get aluminum wheels. I don't give a rip what they look like.

Yeah, yeah, I know "just buy 15s" but I'm specifically looking for 17s for a reason. And it isn't the bling.

How about H2 takeoff wheels? they're 17x8 and you can get a set for $200 on ebay? I was going to get a set, but it doesnt look liek I'll be getting IROKs anymore.

    Aren't H2 wheels 8 on 6.5"?

Won't the 5"-5.5" of backspacing H2 wheels still be pretty gosh darn close to my tie rod end or does it go around the tie rod end because the wheel is so much larger in diameter?

I'm going to go peruse eBay for a bit.

Well, after perusing eBay I now know the new Chevy Colorado has 6 on 5.5" pattern wheels and they seem to offer 17" ones but I don't know what the backspacing is.
