Well after over a year of pondering what to do after highschool, I finally bit the bullet, thought hard, thought more, talked to some people, and finally made a decision of what I am doing next September.

I applied for the University of Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC Canada. My other option was UBC, but they need a "language 11" for a prerequisite, something I overlooked AFTER I applied .
My grades shouldn't be a problem, I am just hoping I get accepted. I chose UVic because I have a large amount of family all around the area. I also applied for entrance scholarships, but I am doubting I will be awarded any...

    Oh-what program you ask?

I will take a 4-5 year bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    Thanks for reading...

Hopefully you get it and can become and engineer. Plenty of engineers here to help you with your homework and maybe getting a job. Good luck.

Good luck man. You'll realized that Mech Engr classes take over your life, but you gotta stay with em. It's a ridiculous amount of work, but if you can get through it all, there's a lot of money to be made at some cool jobs.

Thanks guys, That is one of the reasons I have been absent around here a lot lately, new semester which is tough too, and working now so that takes up a lot of time. Homework at night, etc doesn't leave enough time for CK5 like the previous years did :(

I really hope I get accepted. It's not as recognized as UBC Vancouver, but it's still a good school.

    Thank s for reading.

Dude! U Vic is a sweet campus, nice weather, babe-o-rama and tons of tourist related jobs. I'd much rather be on the island then fighting my way around traffic in Vancouver any day of the week. Good luck and I hope you get in!
